CAPTURED: Russell Williams
Late in 2009 and early 2010, police in Ontario, Canada, were looking for a unique kind of sexual predator, one who broke into homes undetected and waited for his victims to fall asleep before attacking them. His first two assaults followed the same pattern: he tied up his victims, blindfolded them, cut off their clothes, and took pictures. But within months of those first attacks, his behavior escalated and he committed his first murder. It was during the extensive search for his second murder victim that police finally tracked down their mystery man. His identity, and the double-life he’d been living for years, would shock the nation.

So, we spent the next three years working with local and federal law enforcement to try and get to the bottom of it.
