
UPDATE: Beaumont Children
Jane, Arnna, and Grant Beaumont disappeared nearly 60 years ago without a trace. On February 22, 2025, a third and final dig at a location of interest might give answers to a family who’s been waiting for over half a century.
10:00am
The Beaumont children (Jane, Arnna, and Grant) go to Glenelg Beach to go swimming.
They are seen getting onto the bus around this time.
11:15am
Sighting of the siblings.
One of Jane’s classmates reports seeing the siblings in town, as well as an older woman, and several other witnesses.
5:00-6:00pm
The children are reported missing.
Jim and Nancy Beaumont go to the police station and report the children missing.
10:00pm
The news of the disappearances is broadcasted in the media.
9:15pm
A police officer in another town overhears a phone conversation.
A police officer in another town overhears a phone conversation on crossed wires where someone states that the children are being brought back from Hobart, Tasmania.
9:15pm
The hoax letter is sent.
The Beaumont parents receive a letter from someone claiming to be Jane, stating that they can be reunited with their children at the Dandenong Post Office in Victoria. This letter is later proven to be a hoax.
3:50pm
Joanne Ratcliffe and Kirste Gordon disappear.
Joanne Ratcliffe and Kirste Gordon go to the bathroom at Adelaide Oval Stadium during a match, but they never return.
3:50pm
Castalloy Dig
A dig is conducted at the Castalloy factory site, and nothing is found.
3:50pm
Second Castalloy Dig
Another dig is conducted at the Castalloy factory site, and nothing is found.
Nancy Beaumont passes away at age 92.
Jim Beaumont passes away at age 97.
Third & Final Castalloy Dig
The third and final search of the Castalloy factory site is set to take place.
