Timeline:
Kimberly Doss’s mother, Linda, reported her missing after she never arrived in Houston, Texas. Houston PD won’t accept the report, saying that since she never made it to the city, it’s not their jurisdiction. Police in Davenport, Iowa, also won’t take the case.
Kimberly is officially reported missing after the Davenport PD tells Linda that they’ll accept her daughter’s case if she moves back to the town, so she does.
